Galley Hill Primary School, Hemel Hempstead     Value of the Month - 'FORGIVENESS'

Entering School on Wednesday

Thank you so much to everybody for their patience today as we got the children into and out of school as safely as possible.
Although I remain optimistic that the rain forecast for tonight might wash the snow away, we have put together a plan for entering school in the morning just in case.

Children will be let into school from 8:40am tomorrow (8:30am for Nursery). Please try not to arrive before this as we will not have areas for everybody to wait.

We now have pathways cleared across the playground from the Pudding Lane gates. This will allow for children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 to enter the school through their usual doors.

Children from Years 2, 3 and 6 should enter school through the main entrance by the school office.

Children from Years 4 and 5 should enter using the fire exit doors between the Children's Centre and Sapphire class (the one used by Year 4 at the end of the day).

Unfortunately there is currently no access within the school grounds from one side to the other. Staff will therefore allow access to siblings going through the same door and the children can walk through the school building.

Many thanks,
Mrs Birch
