This week's learning:

This week is Science Week, and we will be learning about changes.  We will be talking about the word camouflage.  We will be going into the woods and thinking about why caterpillars are good at camouflaging.  We will be designing our own caterpillars.  

 

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Maths

This week we are learning about Shapes and talking about the properties of Shapes.  We will be using shapes to create structures.  We will be using vocabulary such as straight, curved, corners and sides.  

 

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be starting to learn about Alliteration and Initial sounds.  We will be thinking our the sound of our own names.  We will be reading books and playing games focussing on the initial sound in words.  

 

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.  We will also be changing their Wordless reading books.

 

 

 

Monday is our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom.  Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
