This week's learning:

This week we will be reading the story 'My Mum is fantastic'.  We will be thinking about why our mums are so special to us.  Here is the link. My Mum is Fantastic.

We will be creating some lovely surprises for our mummy and working hard as always.  

Computing

On Wednesday, we will be using Mini-Mash to create our own picture.  

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Maths

In Maths, we will be beginning to learn about Subitising and thinking about different arrangements of 3 dots.   Here is a little video - Subitising up to 4.  

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be starting to learn about Alliteration and Initial sounds.  We will be thinking about the sound of our own names.  We will be reading books and playing games focussing on the initial sound of words.  

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.  We will also be changing their Wordless reading books.

Monday is our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom.  Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
