This week's learning:

This week we will be celebrating two festivals.  We will be reading stories and talking about Eid and Easter.  We will be learning to create our own Eid Suncatchers and Chocolate Easter Egg Baskets.  Also on Friday we will be having an Easter egg hunt!

Maths

In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about Subitising and thinking about different arrangements of 3 dots.   Here is a little video - Subitising up to 4.  

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be starting to learn about Alliteration and Initial sounds.  We will be thinking about the sound of our own names.  We will be reading books and playing games focussing on the initial sound of words.  

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.  We will also be changing their Wordless reading books.

Monday is our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom.  Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
