This Week’s Learning

We will be continuing our learning about the story Jack and the Beanstalk.

As part of our learning, the children will be looking after the beans we planted next week.  We will also be thinking about how to sequence a story using the vocabulary - beginning, middle and end.  

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Our rhyme this week is:

Maths

In Maths, we will be having a go at completing different types of puzzles.  We will be learning to talk about what we notice.  

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be starting to learn our Basics 2 sounds.  Please check out my Tapestry memo all about it.  Our first set of sounds will be s, a, t.  We are so excited! 

Woodlands 

On Friday, we will be learning to create our own Bark Rubbings.  

PE

On Monday, we will be learning to get changed for PE.  We will then be going into the hall to play some games.  

Library

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.  We will also be changing their Wordless reading books.

Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session 

On a Monday we will be having our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session. 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom. 

Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
