Hello Nursery!

We hope you all had a lovley Easter Break, we can't wait to see you all and hear about what you got up to.

I can't belive we are in the final term of the school year. This term we have many exciting things coming up including a visit from a farm in the second half term and we might even have some pet caterpillars/ butterflies coming into our classrom!

This week we will be learning:

Literacy/topic: Working on our social and communciation skills in literacy we will be taking it turns to tell each other what we got up to in the break.

Maths: This term we will be focussing much more on number using the essential foundation of counting to prepare the children for their Maths learning in Reception. This week we will be introducing numicon (a couting resource used across the school).

Phonics: We will begin the term recapping our rhyming that we learnt last term. The children really enjoy the rhyming games we play such as 'silly soup'.

Computing: This term the children will begin going into the school computer suite every other week and alternating with PE. This week it is computing.

PE: This term the children will be having a go at getting changed into their PE kit, so please ensure your child has what is required for this. PE will also be every other week and will alternate with computing, this week it is computing.
