Email Challenge of the Day:
Send us an email telling us what the weather is like today.
Have you been outside to feel how cold it is?
Over the weekend, please collect different photos of food from magazines ready for our English lesson on Monday.
We are going to be creating our own imaginary land like the one in 'War and Peas'!
Thank you!
English:
Today, we are going to continue to look at the story 'War and Peas'.
You are learning to identify what characters are like from their words and actions, in particular, we are going to look at the character of the Rich King.
You are going to write a diary entry recounting your meeting with the Rich King.
Remember to use adjectives and conjunctions to make your writing more interesting!
Log onto your Rising Stars and access one of the reading books that has been allocated to you. Aim to read for at least 15 minutes. Once you have finished the book you can take the quiz!
If you are unsure on how to access your allocated books, see the note on the Year 3 Class Page: https://www.galleyhill.herts.sch.uk/year-3/
OR you can sign up to Oxford Owl and read books yourself there.
An adult will need to set up a free account using their email address and then create a password.
