Phonics/ Literacy

• Today we would like you to go on a winter walk.  
  Have a look at what is the same and different to Our Autumn Walk just like Stick Man?
• Talk to your grown up about what you notice?

Activity -

• When you are on your walk can you collect some interesting natural objects? Then when you get home you could create your own winter picture. Or you could use some sticks to create your own StickMan.  

Maths

• Today we are going to have a go at counting our body parts.  Mrs Swaine is going to help us, can you follow along with Mrs Swaine.  
• Once you have had a go, Could you have a go at counting how many hands you have in your house?  So it could be your grown-ups, siblings, toys?  
• Think about how many legs, tummies, arms etc.  
• Could you draw your answers.

• Today I thought we could have a look at our Mini-Mash.

Name Writing Practice

• Could you have a go at writing your name? 
• Start with the initial sound. 
• You could write it on paper, in a tray of rice, big paint brushes outside with water, chalk and so on.
