Dear Parents/Carers

On Tuesday 13^th March we will be taking the children on a guided walk around the local area, including the Old Town High Street and Gadebridge Park as part of our topic on Hemel Hempstead. The children will be leaving school at approximately 9:30am and will return before the end of the school day.

The children will need a packed lunch from home (no glass bottles, cans or sweets please) or we can supply a school packed lunch providing this has been ordered in advance. They can bring their lunches in a rucksack as this will be easier to carry and lunchboxes can be awkward to carry around all day.

As the weather is often unpredictable, please ensure that you send your child into school with appropriate clothing e.g. a waterproof/warm coat and sensible shoes for walking.

We ask that you return the permission slip below by Friday 2^nd March, and if you have any queries or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher.
