Message from Mrs Birch

Mrs Birch
Mrs Birch - Headteacher

Over the last two weeks, members of the school’s senior leadership team have had the opportunity to visit every classroom to see the children’s learning in English or Maths. This has given us all so much pleasure as we saw how the children focus on their learning, work collaboratively and persevere to complete their work. The relationships between staff and pupils has been wonderful to see and the children are so well supported by the teachers and teaching assistants. Well done Team Galley Hill!

Nursery Applications

Applications for places at our Nursery for September 2025 are now open and will close on 1st March. This is for children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022. We offer places for 15 hours a week and 30 hours a week. If you would like to apply for a place for your own child, or are recommending us to a friend or family member, please contact the office for further details about the application process.

Sharing Assembly

A reminder that 2 Pearl will be presenting their sharing assembly at 9am on Thursday 30th January.

Food Bank

We are aware that January can be a really difficult month financially for many of us. We do not want any of our community to go hungry. We do hold a small food bank at school and are always keen to provide items to families in need. If some items of food would be helpful to you at any time, please do reach out to any member of staff you feel comfortable to speak to and they will discretely provide some groceries to you.
