It has certainly been another busy week at Galley Hill! Thank you to all parents and carers who attended parent consultation meetings this week. We really hope that you found the chance to meet with your child’s teacher informative and useful.
Yesterday, we held an assessment day as we searched for our new deputy head. All candidates commented on our brilliant children and how friendly and welcoming the whole school community was. I was extremely proud of everybody and look forward to sharing more about our new deputy in due course.
Finally, I want to say a MASSIVE well done to our 5/6 football team who won their quarter final match last night and are now through to the semi finals of the Dacorum schools cup.
Sharing Assembly
Well done to Team Crystal for presenting a lovely sharing assembly yesterday (it really was a busy day!). We now look forward to seeing the assembly from Team Sapphire at 9am on Thursday 19th March.
Positive Behaviour Policy
Many thanks to those parents who took the time to respond to our consultation on our Positive Behaviour Policy. It is really useful to us to hear from stakeholders about our policies and procedures. We will now be reviewing your comments with our governing board and will make further changes as appropriate. Our current behaviour policy can be found on our website: Positive Behaviour Policy.
Year 3/4 Performance
We are very much looking forward to our Year 3/4 Easter Performance taking place next week. We would please like to request that those with tickets who are coming to attend the performance start the queue outside of the main front doors, under the covered area. It has been getting very dangerous with people crowding into the entrance foyer. Many thanks for your support with this.
Mobile Phones
Please can you remind your child that they should not be on their phone on the school grounds before or after school. Phones must be handed in at the office on their arrival in to school. Thank you for your support with this.
