Zoom call today at 10am

We have scheduled a zoom call today and hope to see as many children and grown ups there as possible.  Don’t forget to read the letter from Mrs Birch that goes through our expectations and rules for the zoom.

Literacy

• Yesterday you made puppets from the story The Gruffalo. Today I thought we could make a scene from the Gruffalo.
• Think about the different parts of the story, what’s your favourite part?
• Can you think of things you could use to create your scene, paint, twigs, leaves etc. 
• You can use your scene and puppets together to put on a show for your grown ups. 

I’ve used my puppets and scene to recreate my favourite part of the story.

Don’t forget to put yours on tapestry so we can watch your puppet shows! 

Maths

Today we are going to have a think about the vocabulary “more”, “least”, “less”, “lots” “few”.

For a screen free option you could have a go at talking about your toys and see if you can play teacher and tell the difference between those words.  You could also try and trick your group ups/siblings. 

Topic

We have two activities for you today. 
1. Can you have a go at making a den for the gruffalo? Think about what he needs.  You could use Lego, Duplo, paper, sticks, and leaves. It is your choice.  We would love to see your creations on Tapestry.  
 

2. Snack time with Mrs Swaine 

Have a go at creating your own animal snack.  We would love to see how you get on.
