Phonics - Form a band! 
 

• Can you use what you made yesterday, or try saucepans, bunches of keys, pasta in a tin.
• Make music together, encourage your child to make quiet and loud noises, fast and slow sounds (You could use the sound cards attached).  
• Once your child has enjoyed exploring the instruments they could have a go at playing alongside to their favourite music?

Maths

• Today in maths we are going to find objects around the house and match them to our numbers that we made yesterday!
• How many dining room chairs do you have?
• How many apples can you find?
• Can you match what you find to the correct number?

Topic - Fine motor activity

• Today’s fine motor skill activity is cutting.
• All you need is paper, sellotape, and a pen/pencil
• You will need to cut strips of paper 
• Draw a line, zig zag, or curves along the paper
• Sellotape the strips of paper to the wall or back of a door
• Do this a bit higher so the children stretch to cut the paper
• The children can then cut along the lines.
