Email Challenge of the Day:

Send us an email to tell us what you've been playing recently.

It can be a video game, board game, imagination game, Lego, puzzles... anything. We can't wait to hear from you!

English:

Children should draw their own invention to solve the messy cloakroom problem in Year 3. You should include clear details and label the different parts of your invention. Try to use technical language and record the use of each part of your invention.

Eg. The coat picker-upper, The bag tidier

Reading:

Log onto your Rising Stars account and access one of the reading books that has been allocated to you. Aim to read for at least 15 minutes. Once you have finished the book you can take the quiz!

If you are unsure on how to access your allocated books, see the note on the Year 3 Class Page: https://www.galleyhill.herts.sch.uk/year-3/

Spelling:
Our new spelling rule to practice is the 'or' sound spelt 'ar' after w. Work you way through the teaching screens or PowerPoint and then try one or both of the tasks.
Maths:
This morning we are going to be identifying angles. Using our Right Angle Monster to help us we need to decide if angles are bigger or small than a right angle. There are 2 chilli challenges. In chilli 1 you need to find the different sized angles in the image. For chilli 2 you will create your own image, showing a range of angles.

PSHE:

Look at the Powerpoint about relationships being good or bad.

How could this affect you? How could this affect your friends? What makes a good relationship?

Challenge 1: Worksheet 1 - Choose 2 colours and colour the speech bubbles based on whether they are a good quality or bad quality

Challenge 2: Worksheet 2 - Write words around the children to show the good (green) and bad (red) qualities

Challenge 3: Draw 2 children and write 2 paragraphs about what makes a good relationship and what makes a bad relationship
