Email Challenge of the Day:
Send us an email telling us where your favourite place in the world is.
Even better if you could send us a picture of it too.
English:
Today, we are learning to empathise with a character.
What does empathise mean? To empathise means to understand and share the feelings of another.
Think about all the different fables we have read. For today's activity, you are going to write a persuasive note from one of the fable characters.
Look at the screens for help and to find out more.
Reading:
Log onto your Rising Stars and access one of the reading books that has been allocated to you. Aim to read for at least 15 minutes. Once you have finished the book you can take the quiz!
If you are unsure on how to access your allocated books, see the note on the Year 3 Class Page: https://www.galleyhill.herts.sch.uk/year-3/
OR you can sign up to Oxford Owl and read books yourself there.
An adult will need to set up a free account using their email address and then create a password.

PSHE:
Today, we are learning all about what makes us special.
Look at the Power points - we all have our own challenges, we are all different and we are all amazing!
Create a poster of yourselves and write down all the facts that make you who you are. You may want to include some challenges you have had to face and overcome too.
