Tuesday

Spelling - We are going to move onto a new spelling pattern with the 'el' sound.

I have put a To Do quiz on Purple Mash for you.  It is the Green WK3 'el' quiz.

Have a go.  We will go on and have a look at how you get on.  This is so that you can see what you already know this week rather than a review.  I have also put the 'to do' with this weeks spelling word list for you to begin practising using Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check.

Yesterday we looked at all different types of natural disasters and learnt that people have emergency kit bags ready and waiting for them should anything happen.

Today, I'd like you to think about your own emergency kit bag!

You have two options. You can either:

Design and draw your kit bag. Think about what material it would need to be, what colour would be best and draw it on a piece of paper. Around the drawing, draw on all the items that you'd keep in your bag, label and colour them. Think back to the game yesterday to help you think of appropriate things to keep packed.

OR

IF you have enough items in your home, why not try to make a bag? You could use your sewing skills, paper mâché, old clothes, whatever you have available but do not go out to buy things especially for this. Pack your bag with items (which you could also make!) and email us in a picture of what you've created!
