For our English learning today, we are going to give reasons for our opinions.
By the end of the week, we will be writing a persuasive letter but we need something to persuade someone about.
Today, we are going to to see how we feel about whether we should have to wear school uniform or not.
Read through the lesson screens and then, verbally, share your thinking with another person to explain whether you think we SHOULD or SHOULD NOT have to wear school uniform.
Log onto your Rising Stars and access one of the reading books that has been allocated to you. Aim to read for at least 15 minutes. Once you have finished the book you can take the quiz!
If you are unsure on how to access your allocated books, see the note on the Year 3 Class Page: https://www.galleyhill.herts.sch.uk/year-3/
OR you can sign up to Oxford Owl and read books yourself there.
An adult will need to set up a free account using their email address and then create a password.

This morning we are going to use clocks and timers to get an idea of the length of time.
Before we begin it is a good idea to have a timer ready, you can use a phone, tablet, digital clock or a stop watch.
Today, we are continuing our learning about pop-up books and we are focusing on different pop-up mechanisms.
Watch the video and then have a go at making these pop-ups - good luck!
We are going to continue practicing our typing skills.
Log onto Purple Mash, click 'tools' on the home page and then find the icon that looks like a hand called '2Type'.
There you can choose your own challenge, or work through a variety of them.
