This is the first full week of term!

We will be having a lovely time exploring environmental sounds in phonics and doing lots of gross motor skills work in class.

At nursery this week we will be singing "5 big dinosaurs".  We will be practisng this nursery rhyme every day

Our focus this week is on arctic animals and where they live, what they look like and what they like to eat.

Maths

In Maths, we will be recapping the number 5.  Each week we will be learning about a new number, and sometimes revising all the previous numbers.. 

• Can your child count from 1-5 forwards and then 5-1?
• We are also looking at patterns in maths

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Library - Wednesdays

Please ensure your child has their reading book, orange reading record and bag in school.  

Things to remember:

• Please ensure your child has their book bag and water bottle with them every day labelled. 
• Please ensure all uniform is clearly labelled.  
• Children need a book bag or a bag big enough to fit a picture reading book inside.
