Hello Nursery - From your new teachers, Mrs Dormer and Miss Edmonds.

Thank you for baring with us whilst we changed over teachers, as you can imagine there is a lot to do!

WC: Monday 21st November 2022

We will be thinking about positional language for example: over, under, in, on, behind and through. 
 

Maths

• In maths, we are learning about the number 4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08d61cv/numberblocks-series-1-four 
• Have a go at counting some items at home, this could be toys, teddies, food etc.  We are learning to touch each item once, to say the number to match and then the last number you say is how many there is.

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Our Nursery rhyme of the week is: 5 Little Ducks.

PE - Monday 

• We will be going into the hall, to begin to learn to use the hall for PE.
• Using the story of the week 'were going a bear hunt' the children will be exploring different ways of moving including: behind, in front, in, on and under.

Library - Wednesdays

Please ensure your child has their reading book, orange reading record and bag in school.   

Things to remember:

• Please ensure your child has their book bag and water bottle with them every day labelled. 
• Please ensure all uniform is clearly labelled.  
• Children need a book bag or a bag big enough to fit a picture reading book inside.  
• Please ensure your child has wellies in class.
