Activities for Wednesday
English
To persuade |
You will be continuing to write your persuasive letters today.
This section really focuses on the things you’ll be able to take home to remember your visit.
If you chose the beach it might be a piece of rock (the sweet or one from the beach).
If you chose a museum it might be a book or an artefact.
Something that they can look back on for years to come and remember their amazing visit.
|
You will be continuing to write your persuasive letter focusing on the last two boxes from your plan. Think about everything we've covered so far and make sure that you're including it.
For example At Disneyland it's not just the attractions that can grab your attention. You'll be wanting to save your pocket money for a whole year to get some magical souvenirs to help you remember this wonderful memory. You don't want to miss out on a pair of Mickey ears - they're collectible and oh so fun! If you're feeling peckish why not grab a giant Mickey shaped pretzel or a a sugary sweet churro. Be sure to tell all your family and friends when you get home. |
Spelling
Choose 10 words from the 3/4 word list and use them in a sentence. If you want to do a little extra you might want to do some rainbow writing, pyramid spelling, an acrostic poem or a nonsense story.
Reading
It’s time for another challenge! The aim is to read the text in 60 seconds! You should then have 5 minutes to answer the questions that come with it. There are 4 different ones available and today they’re all based on the Romans! We would suggest you do at least 2 today.
Maths
Today we are focusing on angles. Continue working through your home learning booklet and I will be uploading additional extensions each day for you to have a go at.
