Email Challenge of the Day:
Send us an email telling us about a wild animal you'd like to have as a pet. Explain WHY you think that animal would be a fun pet to have.
Today, we are learning to read a loud using appropriate tone and intonation.
Use the punctuation, the font and style of writing to help you. Think about which words to emphasise and where to pause appropriately.
Practise reading a fable with a partner or on your own, making sure that it sounds exciting and engaging for the listener.
Log onto your Rising Stars and access one of the reading books that has been allocated to you. Aim to read for at least 15 minutes. Once you have finished the book you can take the quiz!
If you are unsure on how to access your allocated books, see the note on the Year 3 Class Page: https://www.galleyhill.herts.sch.uk/year-3/
OR you can sign up to Oxford Owl and read books yourself there.
An adult will need to set up a free account using their email address and then create a password.
