Hi Nursery!

Our Topic this half term will be Ourselves and our Senses. 

This week, we are going to be celebrating Black History Month.  

We will be reading a variety of stories from different cultures and exploring what makes each one special.

Our learning activities will include:

• Learning about the Notting Hill Carnival and creating our own masks 🎭

• Playing a roll-a-ball game and learning our friends’ names 🤝

• In Maths, we will be creating different collections and using vocabulary such as small and big to describe and compare them 🔢

Woodlands

Woodlands Lessons – Starting Friday 🌳

On Friday, we will be starting our Woodlands lessons! Please check out the Tapestry post for more information.

During our first session, we will be learning how to stay safe in the woodlands. We will also be taking our Maths learning outdoors, creating our own collections using natural materials such as leaves, sticks, and stones.

Library

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.
