This week's learning:

This week we have lots of different things going on.  We have Online Safety Day on Tuesday and RE Day on Friday.  

Online Safety Day - Tuesday

This week we will be talking about how to stay safe while on devices at home.  Smartie Penguin HD | Internet Safety Story for Early Years

RE DAY - Friday 

We are going to be learning about Buddhism.  We will be reading the story Siddhartha and the Swan.  Here is the link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-UwlloVveI.  We will be thinking about how we can be kind at home, school and other places.

Our Nursery Rhyme of the Week is London Bridge is falling down - BBC Teach

Maths

We will be learning about Positional Language.  We will be linking this learning to crossing the road safely.  We will be learning to use the vocabulary - in, on, under, through, behind and in front.  We using this catchy song to help us!  "In On Under"

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be beginning our learning about Rhyme! We will be reading rhyming books and see if we can notice the rhyme.  We will be playing games like cross the river and Silly Soup to see if we can identify rhyming words.  We will be learning to use musical instruments in lots of different ways.  

Dough Disco

Our Dough Disco song this week will be: Shake it off Dough Disco

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book, wordless book and their library book so we can change it.  

Don't forget on Monday, we will be continuing our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session. 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom.  Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
