TUESDAY 21ST OCTOBER
After a very early start we are all fed and ready for the day ahead! Check back later for updates!
EVENING UPDATE! We all enjoyed our breakfast of bacon, beans and hash browns. Lots of cereal and toast was consumed ready for a busy day ahead. All groups have done the giant swing, lazer tag, canoeing and sensory trail. Lunchtime saw us digging into jacket potatoes and chilli and lots of us loved the garlic croutons and were eating them by the bowl full!! Tea was mac and cheese and curry and a brownie to finish. We all found something we liked to eat (including plates of rice and plain pasta!).
Our evening activity was balloon splash, we played lots of fun, silly games to earn coins to protect our water balloon. We had to make the longest line of ourselves and our belongings (some groups were very creative!!) we had to do the best pose as a group and then make the safest carrier for our balloon. Group 1 (There is No I in Team) won!! Darcie was selected to throw the balloon as our group leader Silvie. She missed but we all had loads of fun!!

THERE IS NO I IN TEAM!
Cooper, Freddie and Alfie D went to death defying heights on the giant swing this morning! Flying through the air with a few bars of ‘Golden’! Grace and Maya were also amazing on the giant swing and went nearly to the top. Maya was happy to just chill as they swung back and forth!
Harley was great in laser tag and used all the hiding spots to help defend his team base. Cooper, Alfie and Freddie were also very good at the tactics, pushing forward for their team advantage and protecting the boss - Emily.
Marni and Emily were amazing in the canoeing session. They had full control of their boat even if Marni did fall off of the seat! Mustafa and Darcie made a good team although she dropped her paddle in a couple of times. Connell braved the canoe and when they were allowed to take a dip in the water he had to retrieve his shoe as it fell off!
Mrs Higgs - Group 2
THE BEST LIDDERS (liddington)
The day started with Jack getting the biggest bowl of cornflakes you have ever seen, it took him most of the morning to finish it. The Best Lidders were then on security detail in laser tag, protecting their president Anayah, lead by captain George.
Lily, Helaina and Riley were cool as cucumbers on the giant swing, going to the limit .
Rada discovered a new unusual skill of leading a blindfolded crew, through an obstacle course! Emmy conquered her fear and got in a canoe and really enjoyed it. Faye ha been the a super cheerleader and encouraged her friends. Tilly is desperate to evict her wobbly tooth she has had for weeks. So far she has tried, toast, garlic croutons and an apple. To no avail!!!!
Mrs Barnard - Group 3
SHOOTING STARS
This Morning started with the Shooting Stars on the Giant Swing. Nearly everyone gave it a go and with a little encouragement from Marshall him and Emilio swung down from the highest height!
It was then onto Laser tag which everyone enjoyed although our team kept getting backed into a corner.
We headed off to canoeing after lunch . Mia piled on so many layers of clothes to keep warm that she couldn’t even bend her arm and legs. Freya and Samuel made an excellent canoeing team and soon had it under control. Amy was amazing when she tackled her fear and went in the Canoe.
Mrs Barnard was so grateful to receive a lap full of water from Frankie! Kai enjoyed the canoeing so much he said he wanted to stay there all night.
After drying out we then headed to sensory trail! Georgie did a fab job leading the whole team and getting everyone through without any mishaps!
Mrs Pullen - Group 4
PULLENS LIGHT BULB HEADS
Team Pullen's light bulb heads - what a team name and what a day!Breaking news - it was been confirmed that Evan does indeed like bacon!
We all had a super early start and a great day of full starting with laser tag. Evan showed great leadership skills as our team leader and with our top snipper Alfie on the ground the team safely protected president Logan!! Taking the win. The big swing was a huge hit with the while team going to the top height with Daniel winning loudest scream award as they pulled the cord!
Rory was renamed swamp monster after an epic slide through the mud during the sensory trail where Rade lead our blindfolded team through an obstacle course. Henry was brilliant at keeping the team going! Canoeing was epic, Ruby was awesome with the paddle, maybe an Olympian in the making.
Maddie and Everly showed most improvement after a few near misses with the reeds they were off and away!! Finished with a very cold dip in the lake for the bravest among us, whilst the rest were glad not to be quiet that cold!
Finishing the evening with team games the Pullen's Lightbulb heads did not disappoint, working fantastically as a team warning us the gold prize - team work is dream work!!
Come back tomorrow for another action packed day!! We are all just winding down for bed
