This Week’s Learning

This week, we will be starting our Animals topic, by having a Chicken Talk with Mrs Prince.  We will be discussing what chickens like to eat to stay healthy, for example.  We will also be celebrating our Fathers for Father's Day.  

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Our rhyme this week is:

Maths

• We will be looking at different ways of representing numbers. For example, using Numicon, dice, objects, and so on.

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be learning our Basics 2 sounds.  Please check out my Tapestry memo all about it.  Our next set of sounds will be r, h, b. We will be focusing on oral blending.  

Woodlands 

We will be looking at how we care for our environment.  The children will be 

Library

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.  We will also be changing their Wordless reading books.

Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session 

On a Monday we will be having our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session. 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom. 

Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
