Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Maths

• We will be looking at different ways of representing numbers. For example, using Numicon, dice, objects, and so on.  
• We will also be learning about number 10.  We will be using the Number blocks 9 to introduce the children.  Here is the link - BBC iPlayer - Numberblocks - Series 2: Ten

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be learning our Basics 2 sounds.  Please check out my Tapestry memo all about it.  Our next set of sounds will be f, l, ll.  We will be focusing on oral blending.  

PE

This week we will be practising more activities for Sports Day.  This will include football dribbling.  

Library

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.  We will also be changing their Wordless reading books.

Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session 

On a Monday we will be having our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session. 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom. 

Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
