This week's learning:

This week we will be learning all about Trains.  We will be reading the story The Train Ride by June Crebbin - YouTube.  We will be thinking about what our favourite transport is as we round off our topic all about Transport.  

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Our Nursery Rhyme of the Week is Alice the Camel.

Maths

We will be learning all about collections.  We will be thinking about using the vocabulary 'many', 'less', 'most' 'least', and 'few'.  

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be recapping Rhyme and beginning to look at Alliteration.  I will be sending home a parent guide about this too.  We will be playing games like cross the river where we try and think of the same sound as an object.  

Dough Disco

Our Dough Disco song this week will be: Roar Dough Disco.   

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book, wordless book and their library book so we can change it.  

Don't forget on Monday, we will be continuing our Weekly Parents Sharing Book Session. 

Times are: 8.30–8.45am and 2.55pm - 3.10pm.  In the nursery classroom.  Please note: Pudding Lane will be open at 2.55pm for you.
