This Week’s Learning!

We are so excited to begin our new topic all about Traditional Tales! 

We will be learning to start our core book - Goldidlocks and the three bears.

We will also be discussing the story of Goldilocks and the three bears, focusing on the characters and the events in the story.  We will also be learning to sequence the story.  

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Our rhyme this week is:

Maths

In Maths, we will be talking about size and relating this feedback to our story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We will be learning to order different size beds, chairs and bears.  

Phonics

In Phonics, we will be recapping our learning about initial sounds and introducing a special friend — our Robot Reggie! He will help us begin blending and segmenting in a fun and engaging way.

Woodlands 

This week, we will be learning to create our own mud soup and learning to take turns.  We will be adding natural items into our soup and talk about what we notice.

Library

We will be changing books on Tuesday this week, due to Bank Holiday.  

Please make sure your child brings in:

• Their orange reading record

• Their library book

• Their wordless reading book
