Hello Nursery!

We are so happy to have you all with us and we hope you are very excited for a fun year at Galley Hill Nursery.

On our Nursery class page you can expect to see weekly updates of what we will be getting up to.

Each week we will have lots of learning happening, including: maths, phonics, computing, PE, woodlands and literacy.

Once the children are ready we will be doing computing and PE on alternate weeks. In the autumn term the nursery children do not need a PE kit but it might be a good idea to get one ready for when we will be using them later on in the year.

Please make sure your child has a pair of wellies that are named and that can stay at school as we will be going outside in all weather!

The children will be learning a hello song and a days of the week song which we will sing every day. We will also be learning a new nursery rhyme each week, so keep an eye on the class page to see which one we are learning that week!

For the first few weeks we will be settling in, getting to know the teachers and new friends in Nursery and learning the routine of the Nursery.
