Arrangements for Admission for a Reception place

Parents of children coming up to school age will receive a booklet from Herts. County Council, which contains information as to how to apply for a primary school reception place. Applications can also be made on line by following this link. All responsibility for admission to our school lies with the education authority, so our Headteacher will not be able to give you a firm offer of a place. Please go to the purple Parent Tab and click the second link in this tab that is titled 'Video tour for New Nursery and Reception'. You can then see the Nursery and Reception classrooms and meet some of our Early Years Teachers. There is also information under the three stars at the top of this page.  In the meantime please explore our website to find out more about Galley Hill Primary School.

In the current climate we do everything we can to keep our school community as safe as we can. We therefore need to keep our parent tours as safe as possible for all those that attend and adults and children in our school. We ask that a maximum of two adults attend from each family. We cannot allow any children or babies to attend these tours. This does include children or babies being carried by their adult. We will have to ask you not to attend the tour if you arrive with a child or baby. We do understand how difficult this could be for some families. We need to ensure that tours are carried out in a safe format where we can ensure there is limited risk to all those in our community.

We do ask all adults entering our school building to wear a mask.

Please call 01442406000 to book and state how many will be attending.
