Continuing on our topic for the half term: ourselves and our senses, this week we are starting a book called Pants! by Giles Andreae and Nick Sharrott. This funny book about different coloured and pattern pants that are worn by many different animals is an enjoyable fun book that the children always love.
We will be looking at lots of new descriptive language around the pants and speaking to the children about our bodies and that our bodies belong to us.
Our nursery rhyme of the week to help support the learning of our bodies and us is: head shoulder knees and toes. Here is the link to the song on youtube: https://youtu.be/fvEtwhui1k0?feature=shared
We will also be learning different ways we can sort and classify different common and uncommon objects in Maths.
We hope you all have a lovely week of learning and fun at Nursery!
